So yesterday we saw the Omnimax film The Human Body, produced by the BBC, at the Museum of Science. It was visually impressive and lots of fun, but I didn’t feel like I learned a whole lot. Glad we went, though. Also, the sex rôles depicted (the movie follows an American couple about to have a baby and their young British niece and nephew) were a bit weird — K—— mentioned that it seemed like it could have been made in the fifties. There was some really neat photography and animation, though. Then we went to Chinatown for dinner (which we finally found after trying a couple places that were closed, and wandering around looking in vain for a particular Thai restaurant).
Those of you who know K—— from BiCamp may be interested to know that she’s going to be at the Diesel poly social tonight. It would be neat if people she knows could stop by and say hi.
BTW, due to very unfortunate illness among the people she was planning on going to visit today, she’s going to be staying here for an extra couple days. Sad she won’t get to see her other peopleses, but happy to have a little extra time with her.
